Mavericks European Cricket Camp

We are delighted to be running our fantastic cricket camp again in the glorious Spanish sunshine. The Mavericks European Cricket Camp covers bowling, batting and fielding and you can join Ian Pont at Europe’s leading sports and leisure resort at La Manga Club, Murcia, Spain. This camp is open to juniors and adults and has limited places
This beautiful part of south-eastern Spain offers a first class sports centre with two artificial grass cricket pitches as well as four full-length practice nets. These brand new, ECB-approved artificial Club Turf pitches have been specifically designed with clubs, leagues and representative sides from the UK and European Cricket Council member countries. These are exceptional for training on, offering good pacey wickets with consistent bounce.
La Manga Club is the leading European venue for sport with its outstanding international football pitches and practice facilities, first-class golf, spa and tennis, swimming, fitness, mountain biking, a tantalising selection of restaurants and good choice of accommodation from twinned rooms to 3 bedroom townhouses. But more importantly, an ideal Mediterranean climate that makes it possible to train outdoors in the sunshine all year round. Get tanned, toned and trained!

Your 5-day elite cricket camp includes:
- Full cricket education (tactical and technical) covering all disciplines including for pace bowlers the ABSAT (Advanced Bio-Mechanics Speed & Accuracy Training) drills
- World-class tuition on bowling, batting and fielding
- Video analysis and assessments to break down actions, highlighting end of season changes for winter planning
- Lunch daily with refreshments during cricket sessions
- Cricket match against Spanish team (this is dependent on final numbers)
- Intensive sessions to maximise cooler parts of the daytime/evenings. This offers attendees some leisure time throughout the week
The camp is £499 + VAT £586.32 (17.5%) plus your choice of accommodation and flights. The closest airports are low budget airline destination - Murcia (closest) or Alicante Airport. The camp is open to juniors from age 11 (no beginners). Age 11 – 16 must be accompanied. Attendees staying at Las Lomas Village Resort accommodation you will be offered transportation to/from cricket nets
There is a selection of accommodation available from twinned rooms to family town-houses on the Las Lomas Village Resort, or there is a great choice of alternate accommodation around La Manga Club Resort or in surrounding villages
