Ian Pont, Author of The Fast Bowler's Bible and founder of the ABSAT methods, is highly sought after as an inspirational coach and mentor. His methods are easy to understand and his drills and techniques are fresh and interesting - whether it's fast bowling, spin bowling, batting or fielding. Coaching is available with Ian Pont on a 1:1 basis or with small or large groups.
Coaching is personalised to the individual or group needs, levels and abilities. That’s why coaching is available to all ages (age 11+ junior & adult). Ian works with school, club, district and county players through to International level.
Sessions can be pure bowling or broken down into different disciplines i.e. bowling and batting. For small or larger groups, longer sessions can be arranged (half-day / full day) and these sessions can be structured and broken up by age groups, cricket discipline, etc. Sessions are simply tailored to your requirements. Coaching can take place at any time of the year and coaching drills, whether tactical or technical, will be matched according to the time of the year the session(s) take place.
Private coaching with Ian is based on fun, informative learning. The sessions have real purpose and the drills and techniques that Ian teaches professional cricketers are available to everyone. ‘Professional cricket’ jargon is broken down into easy to understand, everyday language for all to benefit from. Video analysis is used so players clearly understand where any changes need to take place - and importantly how to make those changes.
Ian will travel to many destinations or you can come to Ian, to a location close to Essex. What could be better than that?
