But it’s not for the faint-hearted. You’ll need to be open to making changes where needed and show a desire and passion to improve.

The Fast Bowlers will be schooled in the secrets of ABSAT coaching methods and pushed to their limits on technique and skills by Ian Pont – ECB National Skills Sets Coach.  Ian is the author of ‘The Fast Bowlers Bible’, widely regarded as the new blueprint for how to bowl fast and accurately.  Apart from technical coaching to maximise your assets, you will learn the tactical side of how to develop swing, reverse swing, seam, yorkers, bouncers and slower balls including the world’s best slower ball, known as the SLOB, devised and created by Ian Pont.

The batting course is run by Grant Flower, the former Zimbabwe opening batsman and current Essex player, who has played a mammoth 67 Test matches and 219 ODI's. Grant, whose brother Andy is the England Batting Coach, reveals how to play pace correctly, how to have the right mindset plus all the skills you need to be a successful professional batsman. You'll be learning the techniques and playing shots to make the most of your talent right from the start for all forms of cricket – including one day matches and twenty20.

There will be innovative sessions from Mark Sheppard, regarded as one of the world’s best Human Movement coaches taking the core training section and Great Britain sprinter, Jason Fergus who leads the running segment.   Both sessions are challenging, informative and relevant to today’s physical needs of a cricketer.

"One word - Brilliant!. Mark Sheppard and Jason Fergus were awesome. My speed has increased from 56.7mph to 62.6mph (1 1/2 yard of speed). My accuracy has improved and all this is happening whilst I am still swinging the ball like before" - Palash Joshi (Bowler)

"I have learnt how to swing the ball, picked up a yard of pace and improved consistency. I am really glad I did the course, it was great and I really enjoyed it. It has made a huge difference to my bowling and my season has started really well" - Harry Picton-Turbervill (Bowler)

"I and the other batters thought it was a fantastic session yesterday. Seeing ourselves on the screen really highlighted the technical areas we need to work on. Great stuff!" - Bill Moran (Batter)

"I found all the drills we did extremely helpful. Seeing my action frame by frame made me realise what I needed to improve. My bowling got about 4mph (1 yard of speed) faster" - James Welham (Bowler)

"Lots of variety and fun. Excellent coaching and advanced techniques. I increased my knowledge of the bowling action, how to run and which body parts to use." - Ali Khan (Bowler)

"I have learnt how the professionals approach training. My confidence has grown in the area of batting and I have learn how to change/improve my own game" - Bill Thorne (Batter)

"My technique and mindset is better and a couple of weeks after the course I was selected for Herts Academy U17/U18 (I am only 15). Overall my confidence in my game has risen greatly" - Tom Simmons (Batter)

"I was a spectator for virtually the whole of the 10 week course and as a Level II ECB coach I received a great deal from this experience. I thought the makeup of the course was excellent and offered an insight into what players need to achieve to become better cricketers. Whether this be at club, county or international level I am sure anyone attending the course would get great value from it." - Gary Simmons
